Since we had not selected a single play for our production, we decided to choose several short plays. Director Rosa Leigh Sullivan read about 70-80 short plays and a theme began to emerge: relationships and marriage. She narrowed the selection down to 10 short plays to cover first dates, a proposal, misunderstandings, teasing, incompatibility and fighting all the way to a 50th anniversary. “I hope you enjoy watching it as much as I did putting it together and working with the actors and behind-the-scenes people as well as the singers. I think you’ll laugh and be able to relate to many of the situations in The Marriage-Go-Round.”
